The last day of the three-day spiritual program organized by Hariom Smiles in the Tricity to commemorate its Eighth anniversary, spiritual guru Monica Singhal conducted a life-transforming session at Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh. Chandigarh Mayor Anup Gupta, Bharatiya Janata Party National Treasurer Latika Sharma, social worker Anil Thapar, Child Welfare Association President Ranjita Mehta, Rajasthan Council President Anup Aggarwal and social worker Jagmohan Garg attended as chief guests. All the guests were welcomed by the members of Hariom Smiles.
Today's mega session started with a brief introduction of Hariom Smiles. All the dignitaries, thanked the spiritual guru for organizing the program in the city. On the occasion, spiritual guru Monica Singhal addressed the guests who had come from all over India. She taught the attendees about forgiveness meditation, recovery and other spiritual practices.
She said that how people's lives changed after joining Hariom's Sadhana Smile. On this occasion, the dance of one of the girls from Kolkata, who had a prosthetic leg, stole the show. The spiritual guru referred to this performance as the dance of the soul. Similarly, another young girl, a cancer patient, who is full of positive life, was also honored during the programme. She also gave information about Yoga to the followers, in which she expressed about laughter, dance and meditation yoga. The national anthem was sung at the end of the programme.
It is noteworthy that Hariom Smiles has done great service by providing artificial limbs to thousands of people completely free of cost in about 18 states of India under a motto 'No one is handicapped by body or mind'. Under the initiative taken by Smiles for a disability-free India, it has organized 22 camps in 18 days in different cities.
