Chandigarh, With an inning lead, Chandigarh A team registered victory over Delhi in the first match of Balramji Das Tandon Memorial Under 16 Boys Multi Days Cricket Tournament being played at DAV College. Chandigarh after scoring 314/6 in the first innings, Delhi was all out for 202. Naitik Mathur (77) was the top scorer from the visiting side while Mohd Zaid and Gagan Singh took three wickets each. By the end of the match, Delhi had scored 22/1 runs in its second innings.
In another match played at Launching Pad Cricket Academy in Mohali, Chhattisgarh won over Himachal Pradesh on the basis of lead in the first innings. In reply to Chhattisgarh's 320, Himachal was all out for 99 runs. Dhananjay and Faiz Khan took four wickets each. Himachal again performed disappointingly in the second innings by scoring 78/7. Dhananjay again took four wickets in the innings.
In another match, Goa defeated Mizoram by an innings and 175 runs. Mizoram scored 45 and 98 runs in both innings in reply to Goa's 318/5. Jai Kanguri took seven wickets for Goa.
