Chandigarh, July 03, 2023:- Leg-spinner Prabhakar Jaiswal (4/45) took a four-wicket haul as Leisure Zone bundled out Peace Zone for 199 in the first match of the UTCA Domestic Under-16 Cricket Tournament which began on Monday at Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36, Chandigarh. Peace Zone won the toss and opted to bat first. The opening pair of skipper Rupesh Yadav (0) and Meet Dahiya (6) fell cheaply. Thereafter, middle order batsmen - Monu Pal (21), Daksh Kashyap (39) and Karan Yadav (22) compensated for the early loss. Rithwik Sood and Himanshu Yadav also contributed 28-28 runs while Ajay Chourashiya added 19 runs. Sayyed Mohammad (2/38) and Hardik Sachdeva (2/24) picked up two wickets each while Rudra Pratap (1/20) and Vansh Nautiyal (1/22) clinched one each. In reply Leisure Zone scored 12 runs with any loss before the stumps were drawn.
