Chandigarh April 30, 2022:-, Mock Parliament Session under the 'Girls India Project' of Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR) was organized at Govt. Sr. Sec School, Sector 45-A Chandigarh.
Mrs. Harjinder Kaur, Chairperson CCPCR inaugurated the programme. In her motivational address to students, she highlighted that confidence is the key to success and Mock Parliament proves to be a great helping platform in boosting the confidence level and communication skills of the students as well. She further appreciated the efforts of participating students and their teachers for conducting this parliament session in an effective manner and encouraged the students to put their sincere efforts in the tasks assigned to them by their teachers as well as parents".She also visited the Resource Centre and Vaccination Camp organized in the school premises. Sixty (60) students got vaccinated in the camp.
Vote of thanks was extended by Ms. Sarbjit Kaur Kahlon, Principal GSSS, 45-A. She thanked Chairperson, CCPCR for initiating 'Girls India Project' which has significantly impacted the students and enhanced their personalities not only on academic but also on personal front too.
Staff of school and CCPCR was also present during this event.
