Chandigarh Nov.06, 2021:- Pawan Kumar Bansal former Union Minister and Treasurer of AICC today lashed out at the Modi Government for playing a cruel joke with the people of the country by giving them too little relief in petrol and diesel prices. He was addressing a meeting of congress leaders and workers at Rajiv Gandhi Congress Bhawan sector 35 and later echoed the same views at a public meeting in Sector 34 organized by the area Councilor Ravinder Kaur Gujral.
He said prices were increased 30 to 40 Rs and relief given is 5 to 10 Rs which is very less. He added that the Bjp led central government has become totally insensitive towards the common man.
Subhash Chawla, President chandigarh congress said that bjp was looting people with both hands and the party workers shall take the issue of price rise to every nook and corner of the city as people of the city are most affected with this. Subhash Chawla also attracted the BJP led Municipal Corporation Chandigarh for failing on all fronts. He informed the gathering that prominent minority leader and speaker Imran Partapgarhi who is known for his oratorical skills and nazams will be addressing the public tomorrow at a big public meeting at 4 pm in Manimajra.
Ravinder Kaur Gujral, Area Councillor said that the BJP cheated the residents by increasing water tarrifs and levying other taxes on the residents of the city. She also highlighted the development works carried out by her in her ward.
Meanwhile H S Lucky General Secretary and Chief Spokesperson of Chandigarh Congress informed that the Congress party will be stepping up its campaign in the coming days and lots of prominent party leaders will be coming to the city in coming days.
