Chandigarh June 22, 2021:-The Hon'ble Chief Justice of Punjab & Haryana High Court has desired that keeping in view the safety of Judicial Officers/Officials/Advocates, vaccination for COVID-19 be administered to all the stakeholders in the age group of 18 years and above, well before 30th June, 2021. Consequently the matter was taken up with the Deputy Commissioner, U.T., Chandigarh as well as Director, Health Services, Chandigarh for organizing a camp from 22.06.2021 to 24.06.2021.
Now the 03 days vaccination camp has kick started today i.e. 22.06.2021 in New District Court Complex, Sector 43, Chandigarh by the medical staff of Government Multi Speciality Hospital, Sector 16, Chandigarh.
Shri Gurbir Singh, Ld. District & Sessions Judge, Chandigarh also paid a visit to the camp to overlook the preparations made and that the exercise is carried out in a smooth manner. It was appealed to all the Judicial Officers, Officials, Advocates and their Clerks to avail this opportunity and get them vaccinated in the ongoing camp so that court work can be started without fear after summer vacation i.e. w.e.f. 01.07.2021. It was assured by the Health Department that if required the period of said vaccination camp will be extended accordingly.
