Fun and Frolic Marks Ankur School Fete

Chandigarh 05th December:- Fun and Frolic marked Ankur School's Annual Fete which was organized in the school premises today. The chief guest was Dr Meenakshi Malhotra, Dean of University Instructions and Prof- Neera Grover, President School Management committee with School Principal Dr Parminder Duggle.
The cultural programme started with the invocation to Lord Ganesha which was followed by Rajasthani Dance 'Ghoomar'. Goa dance was performed by tiny tots of pre-primary wing. Senior students amazed by a very soulful rendition of the sufi song 'Jugni'. The audience enjoyed while playing a vast variety of interesting games like 'feed the dragon's, 'fortune wheel', 'break the handi' and many more like thread in the needle, and 'rotate the top'. The stail of 'Best out of waste' displayed many creative items which were made useless materials like cardboard and old plastic bottles. Among the eatables the main attractions were Kulcha Channa, Noodles, Spring rolls and Pav Bhaji. The Fete concluded with the Raffle draw which was taken out by the honorable Vice Chancellor of Panjab University, Registrar Panjab University Col. G.S. Chadda and Prof Saihjpal Ji, Treasurer Management Committee Ankur School. The school carnival culminated with the energetic Bhangra performance by the boys.
