Sarita Joshi to Play a South Indian ‘Amma’ in Khidki’s 2nd story

Chandigarh 30th June:- The talented and versatile actress, Sarita Joshi, is all set to return to the small screen. In her first association with SAB TV, the veteran actress will be seen essaying the role of a South Indian lady in the second story of Khidki titled- 'Govinda Govinda' whose last wish is to go to Tirupati with her entire family. The show will revolve around stories that have been sent in by viewers all over India, which will be adapted for the small screen, with a set of recurring actors who will feature in every story, portraying different characters.

Amma (Sarita Joshi) has been unwell for a very long time and her frequent trips to the ICU have not dampened her spirit. Amma comes back to her ancestral house with renewed energy and takes charge of everything, which leaves her family dismayed as they are interested in Amma's property. However, one day Amma summons all her family members and tells them that she wants to take a trip to Tirupati with the entire family, after which she will make her will. The whole family gets together for the sake of Amma's will and decide to fulfill her last wish. The family is taken by surprise when Amma puts forth one more condition that the family will travel by train. The family soon sets on a roller coaster ride of misadventures as they try their best to fulfill Amma's dream.

Sarita Joshi who plays Amma in Khidki's second story, Govinda Govinda said that she is playing a South Indian woman whose last wish is to visit Tirupati with her entire family. She puts forth a condition that she the entire family has to travel by train post which she will make her will. Khidki is a very unique comedy show which will depict stories sent by our viewers, thereby making it very special. She look forward to becoming a part of the SAB TV Family and working again with our producer, JD Majethia, and she hope the viewers will enjoy this show.
