Rs.1060 Crore Will be Spent for Welfare of SCs & BCs:Ranike

Chandigarh 16th June:- During the current financial year Rs. 1060 crore will be spent for welfare works of SCs & BCs, wehreas during last financial year Rs. 984 crore was spent for the same. This was stated by President SC Wing SAD & Cabinet minister for Animal Husbandry, SC/BC Welfare Gulzar singh Ranike while addressing the press at Gurudwara Amb Sahib while he was conducting the meeting with party workers of SAD SC Wing.

Gulzar singh Ranike said that SAD+BJP Govt. has implemented the welfare schemes of SC/BCs in true spirit. During this he appealed the party workers to promote the various welfare works done by Govt. for the welfare of society, so that maximum person could be benefitted from the Govt. schemes. He said that earlier Congress party have used the general public as their vote bank, but now public is more aware about their rights. Gulzar singh Ranike said that State Govt. has provided financial assistance worth Rs. 739 crore 93 lacs to 4 lacs 92 thousand 887 beneficiaries under Shagun scheme. He further said that besides this Govt. has also provided free books worth Rs. 163 crore 29 lacs to 1 crore 33 lac SC/ BC students of class 1st to 10th during the tenure of 2007 to 2015.

Later on interacting with the press he said that main objective of conducting this meeting is to strengthen our team of SAD SC Wing so that policies of govt. could be promoted to grass route level. As such, district level, circle level, village level ward level committees have been formed for the same. Addressing a question regarding clean chit regarding 84 riots to Kamalnath given by Capt. Amrinder Singh, he said that Capt. Amrinder has lost his senses and people of punjab will never forgive him for this act.

Addressing the meeting Member Lok Sabha Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra said that the works done by SAD+BJP Govt. are remarkable and during the coming election a clean-sweep victory of SAD+BJP is dead sure and this time it will be a hat-trick.
