Chandigarh 23rd April:- Students from Class V to XII of DAV School Sector 8 Panchkula participated enthusiastically in number of activities which were organised to observe Earth Day. Arya Ramesh Chander Bawa, President, Sarv Hitkari Sabha, President, Rashtriya Arya Nirmatri Sabha, Panchkula as well as mantri of Arya Samaj, Sector-12, Panchkula elaborated on the timeless relevance of Vedas to the students of Class VII and XII. Informative Power Point Presentations made the students aware about the theme of Earth Day, 2016 which is: Trees for Earth. Students of Class IX and X hosted Earth Summit in which the need to conserve the resources was highlighted.
