Woodlands House School Holds their Annual Function ‘Musical Odyssey’-2016

Chandigarh 22nd February:-  Woodlands House School Panchkula, Sec-8, had its Annual Function on Sunday, 21st February 2016 at Tagore Theatre. The theme of the show was 'Musical Odyssey'. The programme was based on how the music changed and evolved by changing years with diverse bands and artists. Children learnt and enjoyed by performing on various dance numbers on classical and modern music and songs. Pre-Nursery children performed on Boney M, Vengaboys, Old is Gold and Zumba –The Fitness Regime. Nurseries did Zorba, Salsa and Robotics dances from scintillating music and Indian dances from different states. K.G.'S put up a play full of musical journey 'Music Resonates' inspired by the movie, Sound of Music.

Audiences were spell bound seeing small children's awesome performances and acts.

The Principal of the Woodlands House school Mrs. Vijay Baksh, said that we put up such shows annually for parents to witness that their wards are not only excelling academically but creatively and are exposed and encouraged to enhance their great talents. They also become confident and self reliant when they perform on the stage in front of such large audience.

The chairman, of the Woodlands House School, Riki Singh of the school addressed parents and told them to encourage children and help them to know their innate talents to boost their self esteem.
