Chandigarh 04^th February:- Dr. Tapasya Raghav, SDM(E), Chandigarh along with Sunil Chaudhary, Drug Control Officer, Jasbir Singh, Drug Inspector and Ms Alka Mehta, Principal, Govt Model Senior Sec. School-26, Chandigarh  inspected the laboratories of the schools and colleges viz. St Kabir Public School-26, Stawberry High School-26, Sacred Heart Sr. Sec. School-26, Sh. Guru Gobind Singh College-26, Sh. Guru Gobind Singh College for Girls-26, Sh. Guru Gobind Singh School-26, Sh. Guru Gobind Singh Pharmacy College-26, for the proper handling and usage of stocks of Acids and corrosive substances in compliance of the orders of the Home Secretary, Chandigarh Administration dated November, 29^th  2013 and directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court promulgated in the case of Laxmi Vs UOI & Ors WP(Crl) 129 dt 18.04.2013 and have found the irregularities in the usage of Acid / corrosive substances. The Head of the Institutions and Principals have been directed to maintain proper stock register as mandatory and send the fortnightly report henceforth to the office of the SDM(East), U.T., Chandigarh.
