Smart City Consultation cum Grievance Redressal Held at Sector-35

Chandigarh 13th October:- The Smart City Consultation–cum-Grievance Reddressal camp was held today in the Community Centre of Sector-35, Chandigarh. Virender Chaudhary, HCS, Joint Commissioner, M.C., initiated the camp along with Smt. Harjinder Kaur and senior officials of the U.T Administration. The camp saw a huge turnout of the residents and the Resident Welfare Associations befitting suggestions to make Chandigarh a smarter city.

Virender Chaudhary, HCS, Joint Commissioner, M.C, heard the suggestions and grievances of the residents and the welfare associations. Virender Chaudhary, HCS, appreciated the active participation of the residents of the wards and also assured them that their problems will be timely resolved and suggestions will be implemented for making the city smart.

During the camp useful suggestions came forward from the residents and the associations like garbage mechanism, water management in order to avoid wastage of water, encroachment free wards, and multi level parking to reduce congestion . The residents of the ward appreciated the changes being brought to the sectors after the visit of Worthy Adviser to the Administrator.

Virender Chaudhary, HCS advised the citizens to use the existing grievance redressal mechanism of the administration via the toll free number: 155304, smart Chandigarh mobile app and website mygov.in so that the complaints and suggestions can be tracked and considered properly.
