PGI Radiological Technologist Gets Life Time Achievement Award

Ludhiana14^th October:- Dr. Subhash Chand Bansal,  Lecturer Medical Technology in Department of  Radio diagnosis  PGI, has been conferred  with Marjorie Aline Gordon Award by the Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists at Kanya  Kumari  during the 2^nd National Conference of  Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists(SORRT) & National Level Conference of Student Radiological Technologists.  This award has been given in recognition of his outstanding service towards the growth of Radiographers & Radiological Technologists.   The citation reads "We, the members of SORRT take this opportunity and feel privileged in presenting this prestigious Marjorie Aline Gordon award to Dr. Subhash Chand Bansal in honor, appreciation and recognition of his services with this life time achievement award".  The award, was instituted in loving memory of late Marjorie Aline Gordon, Hononary fellow of New Zealand Institute of Radiation Technology and also Queen's service medal in 1995 New year's Honours list for  her commendable contribution towards the health problems and welfare of Medical Radiation Technologists world wise.

Dr Subhash Bansal has had an important role in the growth of  profession of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists for the last more than 38 years and is the General Secretary of  Indian Association of Radiological Technologists and Council member of  International Society of  Radiographers and Radiological Technologists representing India.
