Ludhiana 16th October:- The department of Economics, MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh organized a lecture on "Emerging Issues in Indian Public Finance by Dr. Smita Sharma from the Department of Economics, Panjab University Chandigarh. Dr. Smita enlightened the students about various aspects of public finance such as GST, Subsidies, Taxes, Public revenue & Sources of revenue. Students in overwhelming numbers participated in the discussion following the lecture. Dr. Smita addressed their queries & was all praises for their enthusiasm.
The Principal of MCM, Ms. Neena Dhawan said that such diligent platforms are imperative to professional growth of the students. She encouraged the girls to make the most of such opportunity.
