Chandigarh 26th October:- The day 6 of the NSS Camp at MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh was another activity filled day for the volunteers. The day started with an interactive session by Sunil Kumar Panghal, Assistant Youth Affairs, chandigarh State AIDS Awareness Society. He discussed AIDS awareness and blood donation. The volunteers enthusiastically interacted with him and gained an insight into the most dreaded disesase. This was followed by a lecture by Ms. Raman Ghuman, Asstt Prof. of Commerce. MCMDAV College. She talked about moral values in youth today. She impressed upon the volunteers the significance of ethical and moral living to make this world a better place.
In the afternoon in Badheri, volunteers taught women & children about hygiene and cleanliness. They also shared their understanding of AIDS prevention with the residents.
