MCM College Organizes Book Hunting and Bookmark Making Competitions

Chandigarh 22nd September:- An interesting and unique competition was held today at MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh. Students in overwhelming numbers participated in the Book Hunting and Bookmark making competitions organized by the College Library. The competition was held with an objective of making library experience rejuvenating for students to enhance the bond between books and students.

While the budding artists of MCM designed some spectacular bookmarks, more than 50 enthusiastic girls scouted the library to hunt for the book assigned to them. Tejaswini of M.Com - I was the first to locate the book she was assigned, closely followed by Prachi of B.Com - I who stood second. The third prize for Book Hunting went to Gundeep Kaur  of B.Sc. – II. The creative outpour of the bookmark designers wowed the judges. Aarushi Pawar of B.A.-II  was adjudicated the winner of Bookmark Making Contest while Jasmine Sandhu of BBA – II and Isha Bajaj of B.A. – I stood second and third respectively.

The library staff was all praises for the zeal showcased by the students. The Principal of MCM, Ms. Neena Dhawan applauded the exceptional endeavour and congratulated the winners.
