Chandigarh 28th September:- Indo Global Colleges organised Sportsmania 2015 a mega sporting week event at its campus . Students participated in various games held like football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and badminton. There was participation from over 200 boys and 100 girls. These students were from various parts of the country including many from the North Eastern States who highly talented in various sports and games.
Six teams participated in Football Boys; finals were played by Mechanical and Civil engineering with Civil Engineering team emerging as winners. Four teams participated in Football Girls, the finals was played out between Engineering College and Architecture College team with engineering team emerging as winners. Similarly the winner of Volleyball Boys was Mechanical engineering team and Volleyball Girls was ECE Electronics & Communication team. In Basketball Boys the winners were Mechanical Engineering team and for Girls it was Indo Global College of engineering team. Scintillating matches were played in badminton as well as table tennis and the winners were Nijal & Kunal Sharma for Boys and Tshering Diki Bhutia & Dorjee for Girls.
Certificates and Prizes to all the participants and winners were distributed at a gala event by Surjit Singh Head Coach of Baichung Bhutia Football Academy.
Sukhdev Singla Chairman Indo Global Colleges appreciated the efforts of students and teachers and motivated them to participate in sports to stay fit and healthy.
