CII to Host Green Buildtech Conference & Display on 21st and 22nd of August

Chandigarh 19^th August:- To unleash the green building revolution and promote eco-friendly, state of the art, hi tech, energy efficient buildings with negligible carbon footprints in the region, Confederation of Indian Industry in association with Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) is organising two day Green Buildtech Conference & Display at CII NR Headquarters in sector 31 A, Chandigarh, on 21^st and 22^nd of August. Considering the tremendous growth in infrastructure and construction development in north India, and hence the enormous pressure on resources like energy, water, air, raw materials etc, it is imperative to project the green technologies to the industry and relevant stakeholders so as to safeguard the environment. Hence CII Green Buildtech would act as an ideal platform to bring together key stakeholders like the industry, experts and thought leaders and understand the current and emerging trends in green technologies critical to inspire a sustainable world.

According to the press release of CII, The Conclave would showcase and promote sustainable site development & environment friendly building construction technologies, best practices for green buildings, non-conventional sources of energy,innovations for conservation of water, energy & natural resources, ways to reduce pollution, wastages and prevent environmental degradation.

Pikender Pal Singh, Regional director, CII NR said that it has always been CII's endeavour to promote ecofriendly technologies and spread awareness about the green building solutions to the industry to protect environment. The two day CII Green Buildtech is one such initiative. He added that it would feature participation of thousands of business visitors like Architects, Town Planners, Builders, Developers, Civil Engineers, Contractors, Interior Designers, Project Management Consultants, bankers  and from the northern region who would come to learn about the latest energy efficient innovations and advancements in the product categories like Elevator Car, Car Operating Panel, Elevator Wall Samples, Smart Steel Buildings, Fibre Cement Boards, Stone Cladding, Rockwool Insulation, Puf, Prefab Panels, Ceramics & Tiles Hollow Block, Fly ash concrete bricks, Interlocking Pavers, Readymix Concrete and many more.
