Chandigarh 18th June:- It is said that the music of a Romantic-thriller film plays an important part in its success and Film 'Hero' is bringing such kind of music for audience. And as he says 'Naam Yaad Rakhi' i.e. remember the name. This Punjabi film is a production of Sri Narotam Films in the next feather in super actor Jimmy Sheirgill's cap who has been working in some of the most brilliant films of the industry. Directed by Baljit Singh Deo, the film has been produced by Ankit Vijan, Jatinder Punia and Navkiran Singh Dhaliwal. Other central characters have been played by Surveen Chawla, Mukul Dev, Shivendra Mahal and Jaggi Singh, the music of the film was officially released at Hotel JW Marriott, Sector-35.
The film looks very promising with the international locations it has been shot at. Once again the hit-giver Jatinder Shah, Hitesh Modak and Money Aujla has composed the music and background score. Veet Baljit and Inda Raikoti are the lyricists for the eight songs in the album. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Arif Lohar, Ankit Tiwari, Sunidhi Chauhan, Diljit Dosanjh, Veet Baljit, Kamal Khan, Altamash Faridi, Khushboo Grewal and Ikka have lent soulful voices to the songs.
Jimmy Shergill, on this occasion said that it is a Romantic-Thriller. The music is really important part of the film. Be it the songs or the background score at each action of the protagonist, the music drives the film. He would call it one of the most musical films of his career.
City girl Surveen Chawla is quite like Jimmy as she is also continuing in both Bollywood and Pollywood doing quality work. She said that she feels very connected to the film. She is fan of Jatinder ji because whenever he works on a project, he makes it magical.
Writer Veet Baljit said how he kept the whole story in mind while penning down the lyrics. He said that when it is a title role, a writer has to be very particular with the words of the songs.
The producers of the film Ankit, Jatinder and Navkiran love the fact that the film looks international. They said that we always wanted our film to have that look because we want to show the world that Pollywood is no less than any other industry. People have been asking us if it is a Bollywood film. But we are proud to associate ourselves with our own land and industry. As far as the music is concerned, Jatinder paaji was there in our mind since day one as we have been his fans always. Hitesh and Money are the added pearls to our musical line up.
