Chandigarh 05th April:- Chandigarh police arrested Baljit Singh a resident of Panchkula, Haryana, Bajinder Singh resident of Mani Majra Town, Chandigarh and Bhasim also a resident of Mani Majra Town, Chandigarh from Shivalik Park, Manimajra, Chandigarh, while gambling and recovered Rs. 460/- from their possession. Police has registered a Case against them under FIR No. 176, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Later all accused were bailed out.
In another case of theft on the complaint of Raj Kumar resident of Sector-20/C, Chandigarh that someone has stolen his Maruti car No. CH-01Q-4005 from near Public Health Department, Water Supply Additional Deluxe Building, Sector-9, Chandigarh. A Case FIR No. 51, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. The case is under investigation.
