Chandigarh 25th March:- Aryans Group of Colleges organized its 8thAnnual Cultural Extravaganza "Roshaan" at Inder dhanush Auditorium, Sec-5, Panchkula. M K Sharma, GM, Dena Bank was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function. The function commenced with the Lamp lighting ceremony by D.C. Kataria "Roshaan" and Mrs. Rajni Kataria. Many renowned Punjabi singers and actors including Roshan Prince, Kulwinder Billa, Gurkirpal Surapuri, Prince Kamaljeet, Maninder Buttar, Dilpreet Dhillon, Harinder Bhullar, Sukhbir Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Simran Sahajpal, Arsh Benipal, Harsimran, Karamjeet Anmol, Aman Dhaliwal performed besides students of Aryans College. Various cultural attractions such as western dance, bollywood dance, break dance, fusion, comedy dance, mime, Himachali natti, folk dance, solo songs, solo dance were organized at the moment. Bhangra and gidda was central attraction which brought the audience to their toes.
While encouraging the students Chief Guest M K Sharma said that such events are necessary in the professional institutions as they instill confidence and sense of responsibility in the students. Academics and Cultural activities always go side by side. Cultural activities reduce the stress of the students, he added.
The starcast of the upcoming Punjabi movies "Leather Life", and "Jatt the Farmer" also enthralled the audience with their live performance. The screening of the movie "Leather Life" was also done which was appraised by thousands of the audience.
Dr. Anshu Kataria speaking on the occasion said that besides studies, extra co-curricular activities improve overall personality of the students. He further added that Aryans Group has students from all over India who presented the cultures of India through their dances in the function which represent unity in diversity.
