Mohali 17th December:- Oakridge International School Organized an Exhibition about ancient civilizations. A workshop was arranged for students for one month to impart them information about ancient civilization .Students researched under the Guidance of their teachers prepared a artifacts which are evidence of ancient civilizations. They showcased Egyptian, Indus and Chinese civilization. The Egyptian center show cased the pyramids of Giza, Egyptian mummies, Hieroglyphics. Indus center show cased the Indus houses; Apart from this architecture of Ancient Indus was also showcased. The Chinese center was predominated by the Great Wall of China and Terracotta Army. The exhibition was followed by a presentation on each of these civilizations. The exhibition was inaugurated by Executive Principal of Oakridge International School Adilakshmi. While encouraging the students Principal Adilakshmi said that such exhibitions help the students develop confidence level of the students. She further emphasized over practical implementation of theoretical knowledge.
