Chandigarh 18th December:- The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh today made surprise checking of different parking lots accompanied by enforcement inspectors and other concerned staff and challaned 11 parking contractors in different parts of city. Dr. Sarita Malik, Additional Commissioner, the teams made surprise raids in parking lots of Elante Mall, Industrial area Ph-I, Empire store, Bank Square, MOH parking lot, Dr. Sahib Singh, Jagat & Anand parking lot, Madhya Marg side, sec.17, Sector 34 part I & II parking lots, Sector 35 and Sector 22 opposite bus stand parking lot, Chandigarh. The MC team made challans under the violations including no electricity ticketing machine installed, attendants found without wearing proper uniforms and cameras were not installed.
