Chandigarh 01st November:- To increase awareness about cancers in the general public, The Department of Radiotherapy, Regional Cancer Center, PGI, Chandigarh, organized a poster exhibition and interaction. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr Amod Gupta, Dean PGIMER. It included a display of posters highlighting causes of cancers, its warning signs and stressed on the need for screening and early diagnosis. The exhibition also had a multimedia presentation in vernacular language. People from all walks of life attended the exhibition and interacted with the doctors and staff of Radiotherapy Department. Information brochures were also distributed among the visitors highlighting various aspects of cancers.
