Mohali 20th November:- District Administrative Complex building worth Rs. 112 crore 34 lacs, being constructed at Sector 76, Mohali will be equipped with all modern facilities & will be of its own kind. The construction work for this building will got completed very soon. This was stated by Deputy Commissioner Tejinder Pal SIngh Sidhu while reviewing the progress of construction work of District Administrative Complex Building.
Tejinder Pal SIngh Sidhu said that 70% work for District Administrative Complex worth Rs.65 Crores have been completed so far. He said to ensure the timely completion of the remaining work directions have been issued to the officials of PWD & iit is hoped that the work will got completed in next six months. Tejinder Pal SIngh Sidhu said that the administrative building will be fully air-conditioned and to provide better working environment, the building will be equipped with all modern amenities. He said that Rs.5 Crores 36 Lacs will be spent for providing safe drinking water and toilet facilities inside the building. Besides this, estimated expenditure of Rs. 8 Crore will occur for installing air conditioning and fire fighting system. Tejinder Pal SIngh Sidhu said that with the new administrative building, various kinds of services will be provided under one roof, as all Govt. offices are likely to shift in this new administrative building. All it will save time and money of the general public. He said that this new administrative building will be having offices of Deputy Commissioner, SSP Office, Treasury Office and 30 other Govt. Offices. He said that Registrar Office will also be located in this building. Besides above provision of banks and food court will be there. He said that to facilitate that vehicular traffic, provision of proper parking space has also been ensured in this building. Then after Deputy Commissioner conducted a special meeting with officers concerned and PWD officials and directed them to expedite the work progress so that its timely completion could be ensured.
