BRILLIANCE WORLD SCHOOL STUDENTS DISPLAY SCIENTIFIC MODELS

Chandigarh 10th October:- Brilliance World School, Panchkula's students from Classes III to X was put up an extensive Science Exhibition. There was an overwhelming participation from the students who displayed 45 exhibits related to Science and as many exhibits of fascinating art. There were exhibits showing working of a bio gas plant, water purifier, a system which explained the circulation of blood in a body by use of an electric circuit and a model showed how solar power is generated among others. As far as art exhibition was concerned there were sketches, pastels, colourful drawings on glass, canvas paintings and tribal masks displayed. The art works shown were an amalgamation of different techniques.    

Shyam Sunder, Chairman, Brilliance World School,said that the idea behind the exhibition was to put to practice scientific principles learnt by students in their course of study at the school. The exhibition was instrumental in increasing the confidence of students and developing a scientific temperament in them. An art exhibition too was held concurrently. There were more of working models and less of static exhibits. Spirit of scientific temper was all pervasive in the creations by students. There were certain innovations like production of electricity from common salt, generation of electricity by moving cars on the road and catching the defaulter while jumping red light. Automatic street light, rain water harvesting, generation of wind electricity, caught the fancy of onlookers.
