Chandigarh 05th July:- A two day exhibition -- Fashion Stories Lifestyle Exhibition, got off to a trendy start at Chandigarh's Hotel The Aroma Aquamarine, Sec 22. Over 40 fashion designers, accessories specialists & Home Décor houses are displaying their products for this season.
Organisers of the event Anjali and Rakesh Makin from Sparkle Events said that Fashion Stories is a unique exhibition in many ways. We have brought exhibitors of not just the usual designer wear but there is good news for over worked housewives who more often than not find their wardrobes in disarray. Organizers are available to manage properly your clothing & knick-knacks in cupboards and houses. Exclusive saree covers, jewellery bags and various other kinds of stylish products to put one's trousseau in order are also there.
Your brotherly love is also getting an expression at Fashion stories. On display for sisters who want stylish Rakhis' to adorn their brothers' wrists, designer Rakhis' are being showcased. Designer Ms. Keerty, said that as festival of Rakhi is on Aug 10 I have brought an all new collection of designer Rakhis for sisters to choose for their brothers. All these Rakhis are handcrafted by artisans in Kolkata. The designs are mine and I have used Swarovski and other imported stones to embellish these. Other than these you can buy Rakhis based on trends like Whatsapp, Pringle chips, Candy crush etc.
The highlights of Fashion Stories are also Beautiful Torans to decorate your house and a kids' ramp walk show on both days July 5 and 6. Fashion designers have brought their wares from Delhi, Kolkata and Tri-city. Delhi's 'GTB's Prinsha Glamdol' is here, Pooja Narain of 'Panache', Nigah & Archana Bhullar the duo that owns the label 'Odhini', London Chicks, Patiala Salwar, Rivayat, Ru-ba-Ru, Azara n Diiva, 'The You by Simran Kaur', 'Begums', 'Zoya' are some of the labels present among others. Long kurtas, sarees, customised lehngas & anarkalis to suit different occasions, peplum style suits, ethnic jump suits, kaftan style anarkalis, embroidered plazos and new style sarees with pleats on the side and pleats facing each other all these are available in the collections.
