Mohali 11th April:-- Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology
organized an educational trip to Jaipur famous as Pink City in the
world. Almost 38 students visited the Jaipur along with their
teachers. In this four days trip Students saw Amber Palace, Jaigarh
Fort, Jal Mahal Hawa Mahal Birla Mandir, Centre Museum, Bapu Bazaar
and A.C Market and many other worth seeing places. students were
amazed to see the beauty of this cultural heritage which is Surrounded
by rugged hills on three sides and is the most picturesque city in the
world. The main attraction for the students was 7 storied Chandra
Mahal with apartments adorned with paintings, floral decorations,
mirrored walls.
Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology chairman, J.S.Bedi
said that Jaipur has great historical importance and is planned
according to Indian Vastu Shastra.The directions of each street and
market are East to West and North to South. The Eastern gate is called
Suraj (Sun) Pol, while the Western gate is called Chand (Moon) Pol.
The main aim to organize this trip was to excite, inspire, fascinate
and involve the students in unique Indian tradition and culture . He
further added that it is important to develop habit in the students
for travel adventure, global exploration and experiential learning for
holistic development.
