Asia Pacific Best Case Award for PGI Cardiologist

Chandigarh 29th April:-- Dr Shiv Bagga, Assistant Professor Department of Cardiology at the Advance Cardiac Center, PGI won the Best Case Award in the complex case presentation held at the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics Asia Pacific (TCTAP) conference in Seoul, South Korea. TCTAP is one of the premier most interventional cardiology conferences being held at international level. Dr Bagga's case was selected as the best challenging case among the participants. The case involved an unusual complication following angioplasty with medicated stents which was successfully managed surgically. Dr Bagga's presentation was adjudged the best as it highlighted the rare manifestation of one of the complications related to medicated stents and the management issues related to such a case scenario.
