Aryans Organise Its 7th Annual Cultural Extravaganza "Roshaan"

Chandigarh 02nd April:-- Aryans Group of Colleges organized its 7th Annual Cultural Extravaganza “Roshaan” at Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh today. M K Sharma, GM, Dena Bank was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function.  The B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Ed, Diploma, BA, Nursing etc students of Aryans Group participated in the colorful cultural items. Many students were honored for their achievements in Academics, Sports, Cultural & Extracurricular activities.

The function commenced with the Lamp lighting ceremony followed by Ganesh Vandana by Faaiz & group.  After that, various cultural activities performed by students like Himachali Naati performed by Sonali and group, South Indian Dance by Avneet and Harpreet, Dark Monsters by Parveen and Manish, Dandiya by Deepprabha and group, Qawali by Varinder and group, Kashmiri Rouf Dance by Shaziya and group, Love Story 2014 by Avneet and Group, Retro by Kanika and Priyanka, Nepali Dance by Sanjay and group, Mime presented by Ashish and Group etc. enthralled the audience. Dance with Fire and Stunts presented by Vikram and group and Bamboo Dance by Jumma and group were the centre of attraction. Skit presented by Tejinder and group sent the audience into peals of laughter. On the other hand, Bhangra presented by Balwinder and group and Giddha by Tejinder and group brought the audience to their toes.

M K Sharma said that he has attended Aryans Function earlier also and he feels good to see the students of each and every corner of India at Aryans. He added that Aryans has provided a platform to the students where they can showcase their cultures as well as talents. He further told that he would ensure that the students from any state of India should not face any problem for Education Loan.

Dr. Anshu Kataria speaking on the occasion said that Aryans Group has students from all over India who are studying in various courses. The students presented their respective cultures through their dances in the function. He added that besides studies, extra co-curricular activities are equally important. They help in the overall development of the students.
