Young Indians Discuss Nuances of Entrepreneurship & Innovations

Chandigarh 03rd March:-- Out of the box thinking, hard work, self-belief and disciplined attitude are the keys to achieve success in tough competitive world. At the same time, conducive family and social environment act as the major pillars in helping the young entrepreneurs achieve their goal. This was shared by Sachin Bansal, Founder & CEO, Flipkart, at CII-YI session on Yi-PRENEUR : Driving Innovations held at CII NR headquarters.

Talking about the success journey of Flipkart, he said, that the main idea besides starting this venture was to provide good services online like the major global brand-Amazon.com. We (Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal) started with an initial capital of about Rs 4 lakh, of which Rs 2 lakh were invested to buy computers and furniture, the company started by selling new books. It now banks on technology to sell everything from apparels to consumer durables, and has its own logistics firm and is valued in billions.

Sharing his idea of success, an International Table-Tennis player, Himangshu Talukdar, Chairman & Founder, Indian Collegiate Athletic Program (ICAP), said, that young entrepreneurs need to understand that great idea, supported by perfect timing and well-planned execution will never let any innovative business idea fail. What you need more is to keep improvising and grooming the idea with changing scenario and needs of the market.n Himangshu said, that ICAP has been founded to promote an environment where sports should be pursued with zeal and enthusiasm in educational institutes in India. It will bring out the best sports persons from the youth of India who will bring glory to the nation at international arena. We are focused to provide an inter–collegiate sports program for continuous augmentation and renewal of infrastructural facilities.

Atul Khosla, Senior Partner & Country Head, Oliver Wyman (Third largest management Consultancy), said, that passion and innovation together work towards execution of great business ideas for young entrepreneurs. What you need is to realize your hidden potential and make it your ultimate strength to hit bull’s eye. Also, the youth of India needs a platform for expression of ideas and discussion of their issues.
