GJIMT organize a Rally To Appeal The Residents To Their Vote

Mohali 20^th March:-- To make people more aware about to cast their vote Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology Mohali organized a rally to appeal the residents to cast the vote. The rally was flagged off by the chairman, Gian jyoti group, JS Bedi and Assistant Deputy commissioner Parveen Kumar IAS & SDM Lakhmir Singh .The rally began from the college campus and move to Madanpura roundabout then to market of phase 7. Later, came to an end at phase -2, Mohali  .

While speaking at the moment ADP Parveen Kumar said that ballot paper is not just a piece of paper. It is a very powerful weapon. It changes a government without shedding even a drop of blood and right use of ballot paper should be made by voting.

Chairman, Gain Jyoti Group, JS Bedi said at the moment that Elections are the core of any functioning representative democracy. It provides a way to punish the government or ruling party, if the people are not satisfied with the performance of the government then they can easily show them the way out in the next election. He further urged the students’ residents to make government responsible and accountable by voting dutifully. Citizens must vote to make politicians realize that the people deserve more than what they are being offered in terms of facilities, public works, education, amenities and medical assistance among others.
