Mohali 01st October:-----  On the occasion of Senior Citizen Day Oakridge International School Mohali gave the warm welcome to the grandparents of the students in the school campus.  The highlight of the day was a Positive Parenting Session for the grandparents for understanding their grandchildren better and to help bridge the generation gap. In their eyes we could see the pride that they felt on the accomplishments of their grandchildren.

The children gave wonderful performances of the dance on various songs i.e. "Dada Ji Ki Chharhi Hoon Main". The little girls were dressed up like fairies and danced on "Main Pariyon Ki Shehjzadi". The grandparents also actively participated in the various games. They were awarded for their contribution in the lives of their grandchildren.

At the end, Principal, Mrs Pranjala Dutta Das, thanked the grandparents for their active participation on this occasion and wished them all along, healthy, comfortable and cheerful life. She further added that Grandparents are our heritage and are essential members of our families and communities.  This special day, National Grandparent's Day, organised to honour them.
