Chandigarh, 09th July:- Indian Printing Packaging and Allied Machinery Manufacturers' Association- IPAMA has decided to move ahead and register their presence in overseas markets to take brand India to global markets. The first such significant move is IPAMA's presence at UAE Countries as it has joined hands with EXPO CENTRE SHARJAH for conceptualizing and co hosting , PRINT PACK ARABIA 2014 one of the biggest show in UAE for this sector.
The Print Pack Arabia is being held from April 4th to 7th in Sharjah and provides an opportunity for Indian entrepreneurs exchange technologies and world wide exposure to latest printing and packing innovations.K S Khurana, President IPAMA, signed an agreement with Expo Centre Sharjah. The agreement for the same was signed in the presence of Mr Midfa, Director General, Expo Centre Sharjah; Mr K.S. Khurana, President-IPAMA; and Mr C.P. Paul, General Secretary-IPAMA
K S Khurana said that "We are happy to associate with Expo Centre Sharjah as co-organiser to for Print Pack Arabia. IPAMA is dedicated to disseminating information on the state of the technology, market perspectives and various developments taking place around the world, besides holding Printpack India," . "Through Print Pack Arabia, we will be able to replicate the success achieved in India and share our decades of experience and expertise."
C.P. Paul, General Secretary, IPAMA said that "This is the first time in the history of IPAMA for any overseas business tie up has been done. And it is working to provide opportunities for our members & Promoting Brand India image and exploring possibilities of entering into joint ventures and business collaborations, etc with UAE Countries."
Director General of Expo Centre Sharjah Saif Mohammed Al Midfa said that "We certainly want to make a big impact with the inaugural Print Pack Arabia. And, for this, we have joined hands with the leaders in this field - IPAMA, which organizes Print Pack India, the fourth largest exhibition of its kind in the world and the biggest in India,"
The Printing & Publishing Industry in UAE region is expected to grow to US$ 7 billion by 2015. 80% of the UAE's Printing and Packaging Industry is based in Sharjah & Ajman. UAE has emerged as the centre of Paper & Printing industry in the Arab World. This will be a new window for Indian manufacturer to explore their business at Gulf Countries, especially at Sharjah. Also Indian Printing patrons will be benefited in terms of discounted rates in participation, Air Fare, Accommodation, Visa etc.
The packaging industry in Sharjah region too is on an upswing, with the sector in the UAE itself expected to be worth $2.3 billion by 2016 owing to increased consumption and demand for consumer goods, driving the need for more sophisticated packaging.
The UAE and the region are large consumers of ready-made food, which are supplied to consumers in packaging, stimulating demand for products like integrated graphics, structural design, packaging equipment and packaging materials and supplies.
For the Indian Market, every two years IPAMA hold International Exhibition, "PRINTPACK INDIA". This is one of the mega shows of the industry in South East Asia. The 11th showcase in the series was over on 28thFebruary 2013, at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, and NCR Delhi, with a very remarkable achievement. Over 60,000 visitors eye witnessed this mega show. Very soon IPAMA is also going to announce dates for PRINTPACK INDIA 2015.
