MC removes encroachments from Ind. Area Ph.1

Chandigarh, June 11^th: - The enforcement wing of Municipal Corp. Chandigarh in a special anti encroachment drive today removed encroachments from Industrial area Phase-I, sectors 17, 19 & 22 and issued 100 challans to the encroachers. During the course of drive the enforcement team found dumped material including heavy iron sheets, iron pools etc.The enforcement staff seized all the material from the site with the help of loader and issued 40 challens to the encroachers.In addition to that the team seized various items including rehari pharis including cylinders, plastic chairs, tables, counters, etc. from sector 17, 19 and 22 and issued 60 challens to the encroachers.The drive was carried under the supervision of Kashmira Singh, Superintendent and sub inspectors of Enforcement wing, MCC.
