Chief Minister Hooda expressed grief over sad demise of V.C.Shukla

Chandigarh 11th June:- Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda has expressed deep grief over the sad demise of veteran Congress leader and former Union Minister Mr V.C.Shukla in a private hospital in Gurgaon today. Mr Shukla had suffered grievous injuries during the Naxal attack in Chhattisgarh recently and was undergoing treatment in Gurgaon.
Mr Hooda said that in a long span of political career, Mr Shukla had held many portfolios and had served the nation in various capacities. He described him as an able parliamentarian and a statesman who would be long remembered for his qualities of head and heart.
The Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul might rest in peace.
