Sri Guru Harkrishan Model School, Sector 38 Holds It's Annual Function

Chandigarh, Dec.23, 2025:-Classes III to X of Sri Guru Harkrishan Model School, Sector 38-D, Chandigarh celebrated their grand 
Annual Function 'Ehsaas' at Tagore Theatre with immense enthusiasm and splendor. The event beautifully reflected emotions, traditions, and social awareness through a vibrant blend of music, dance, drama, and art. The stage transformed into a lively arena of music, dance, and expressive performances, highlighting the remarkable talent and zeal of the young performers. The occasion witnessed the gracious presence of students, staff members, and parents, all coming together to rejoice in the spirit of talent, unity and cultural harmony through a series of captivating presentations.
The programme commenced with an auspicious Ganesh Vandana, invoking divine blessings, followed by a melodious Welcome Song 
that set the perfect tone for the evening. A vibrant Punjabi action song infused with spiritual essence filled the atmosphere with devotion and divine energy. The spiritual depth of the evening was elevated through a powerful Qawali performance, followed by a captivating Orchestra presentation that mesmerised everyone The school highlighted the theme of unity in diversity through a series of vibrant folk dances, including the 
Naga Dance, Nepali Dance and Bangla Dance highlighting the rich cultural heritage of India's different states while a lively Spanish Dance added an international flavour to the programme Students further impressed the audience with a serene Yoga performance, emphasizing balance, discipline, 
and well-being.
A thought-provoking act on Women Empowerment conveyed a strong social message, earning loud applause. The English play "Melon City" entertained the audience with its wit and satire. The creative Speed Art performance left the audience spellbound as art unfolded live on stage.
The fun-filled Lazy Dance brought smiles and laughter, followed 
by a humorous Hindi play based on Indian wedding sarcasm, which 
resonated deeply with the audience due to its relatable theme. The grand finale was marked by an energetic Bhangra performance, filling the auditorium with joy and thunderous applause.
The Annual Function was a fine reflection of not only the students' artistic abilities but also their teamwork, discipline, and deep-
rooted cultural values. The audience warmly appreciated the students' commitment and the untiring efforts of the teachers, whose dedication played a key role in making the programme a grand success.
The esteemed Principal, Dr. Harpreet Kaur, commended the 
collective coordination and unity displayed by the students, which led to the successful execution of this magnificent event. She also acknowledged the sincere efforts of the teachers and congratulated the young performers for their remarkable confidence and stage presence. 
The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks, leaving 
behind cherished memories and reinforcing the school's commitment to holistic education and cultural excellence.
