Mohali, Jan.13, 2026:-Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Phase 2, in association with 'My Bharat', Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (Govt. of India), celebrated National Youth Day with great enthusiasm to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. On this occasion, the institute organized a 'Run for Swadeshi' to showcase youth power and national pride.
Various activities were conducted to make the program engaging. NSS and NCC volunteers participated in the run with full energy and patriotic spirit. District Youth Officer, Ms. Isha Gupta, conducted an impactful session, encouraging students to move forward with clear goals and responsibility. Additionally, a poster-making competition was held to promote the use of indigenous (Swadeshi) products. The event concluded with a pledge by the youth to contribute to the nation's progress and adopt Swadeshi goods.
Addressing the youth, sandhu papa, Director of the institute, said that the youth possess the power to shape the future of the nation. Every step taken towards discipline, dedication, and national pride not only builds character but also serves as a source of inspiration for overall progress. The event was dedicated to the ideals of Swami Vivekananda, reaffirming the institute's commitment to nurturing leadership qualities among the youth.
