Chandigarh, Jan.07, 2026:-A community-led sustainability dialogue titled "Clothing as Conscience" was held at Sector 17 Plaza, Chandigarh, bringing together members of the VARNINI - Woman of Class community for an open conversation on mindful fashion and everyday responsibility.
The interaction invited walk-in participants to reflect on overproduction, fast fashion, and the role of conscious choices in daily life. Women from diverse backgrounds engaged in honest dialogue around craft, time, human effort, and India's long-standing tradition of making for longevity.
Participants wore VARNINI sarees as part of lived expression, demonstrating how slow fashion can blend naturally into real life without excess or display. The session focused on awareness, shared learning, and reflection - reinforcing the idea that sustainability is not a trend, but a practice shaped by intention.
