Mohali, 22 July, 2025:-Brookfield International School Siswan Road concluded a highly successful STEM Week, an initiative designed to foster a love for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics among its youngest learners. Powered by Curiosity Kids Lab (Singapore), the week-long event captivated students from LKG to Grade 5 with a dynamic array of hands-on activities and engaging explorations. Throughout the week, Brookfield's budding scientists donned lab coats and delved into the wonders of the scientific world. From understanding the magic of Colour Science to playing with Light & Shadow, and even proving that Air Occupies Space through delightful glove puppet fun, every activity was designed to spark curiosity and encourage active participation.
The excitement continued with creative challenges like building intricate Marble Run Mazes and engineering their own DIY Catapults, allowing students to grasp fundamental physics principles through play. Explorations of the Human Body (🫁) provided fascinating insights into biology, while dedicated sessions on Scientific Thinking in Action empowered students to approach problems with a critical and inquisitive mind. To further ignite interest, students also engaged in Robotics Challenges with LEGO WeDo, designed and built Eco-Friendly Water Filters, and participated in a thrilling "Great Egg Drop" Challenge, where they engineered protective casings for eggs dropped from a height.
