Rest of ISTCOSA Beat 1999 Silver Jubilee Batch by Five Wickets

handigarh, Dec.21, 2024:--The Indo Swiss Training Centre Old Students Association (ISTCOSA), the alumni association of Indo Swiss Training Centre located at Central Scientific Instrument Organization (CSIO) under the aegis of Ministry of Science and Technology, Sector 30 organized Yaari Cup 2024 as part of its annual alumni celebrations. The alumnus displayed their sportsmanship by sweating out in the field. Rest of ISTCOSA defeated 1999 Silver Jubilee batch by five wickets. Batting first, the 99 Silver Jubilee Batch scored 90 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the stipulated 12 overs. Nandan Dasgupta scored the highest 42 runs while Prashant Khullar contributed 17 runs. In reply, ISTCOSA chased the given target in the eighth over . Himanshu scored 31 while Sandeep scored a quick 20 runs to seal the match in their favour. UT Cricket Association's President Sanjay Tandon as the chief guest felicitated the winner and runner-up teams in the presence of the institute's Principal Sanjeev Verma. Sham Kamboj of 94 batch was specially felicitated for successfully organizing the last six editions of the alumni celebrations. Those who present on the occasion include association's president Neeraj Sahni along with senior members and faculty of the institute. Laer in the evening, alumnus from India and overseas converged at the get-together organized at Hotel Radisson at a program themed on Connect and Conclave to foster the networking, mentorship and partnership within the alumni.
