Chandigarh, Nov.10, 2024:-Tripura recovered well from 71/5 to 169/5 to maintain the 162 runs lead against Chandigarh on the third day of the Col CK Nayudu Trophy match being played at Mahajan Cricket Ground, IT Park on Sunday. After bowling out Tripura for 216 runs, UT boys also collapsed early at 223 runs and got a minimal lead of seven runs. Neel (51) scored a half-century while Harman and Nikhil added 43 and 37 runs respectively. Diptanu Chakraborty took four wickets. Harshit (3/38) spoiled Tripura's second innings start and the team was reeling at 71/5 at one stage. The unbeaten duo of Sentu Sarkar (69) and Durlab Roy (40) added 98 runs to steer the innings for 69/5. The visitors now have a lead of 162 runs with five players remaining.
