Chandigarh, April 08, 2024:- UT Cricket Association, Chandigarh is conducting trials for the season 2024-25. In a press note issued by Devinder Sharma, Secretary, UT Cricket Association informed that the trials for players of all categories for both Men and women for the season 2024-25 will commence from 8th April, 2024 at three different venues at Chandigarh.. UTCA had earlier done registration of players from 1st to 15th March, 2024.
Verification of documents of registered applicants was completed and now those players who have been found eligible are being called for the trials. He further informed the schedule for the trials which will be as under: -
8th & 9th April, 2024 : Trials for the women seniors & U-23 and U-19 & U-15 categories respectively at Guru Nanak Public School, sector 36, Chandigarh.
Trials for Sr. Mens category will be held on 8th & 9th April, Men U 23 trials shall be held on 11th, 12th & 13th April at Baba Balaknath ground, Kaimbwala,
9th to 15th April, trials for Boys U-19 and from 17th to 21st April for Boys U-16 category respectively at Cricket stadium, sector 16, Chandigarh.
Sanjay Tandon President said that UTCA will start the domestic season early this year so that players get more match practice. This will also enhance the performance of the players and we hope UTCA will give a better performance in BCCI tournaments to be held later this year.
