Desh Bhagat Dental College and Hospital Hosts Spectacular Fresher's Halloween Party

Chandigarh, April 25, 2024:-Desh Bhagat Dental College & Hospital recently organized an electrifying Fresher's Halloween Party for the MDS & BDS 1st year students, marking a memorable event in the college's calendar. The event was a grand success, bringing together students, faculty, and dignitaries in a celebration of talent and festivity.

The evening commenced with a prestigious Felicitation Ceremony graced by esteemed personalities including Chancellor DBU, Dr. Zora Singh; Vice President DBU, Dr. Harsh Sadarwati; and Principal of Desh Bhagat Dental College, Dr. Unnati Pitale. The atmosphere was vibrant as the students showcased their talents through various performances, starting with the auspicious Saraswati Vandana and a divine presentation of Ganesh Vandana by the first-year students.

Highlights of the event included Tanaj and Nikita's captivating Durga Stuti, Jasmin's mesmerizing dance performance, and the thrilling Halloween Hunting where BDS first-year students rocked the stage with a character ramp walk. The theme resonated with the spirit of Halloween: "It's our job to scare others, not to be afraid!"

The festivities continued with the auspicious lighting of the lamp followed by the DBU anthem, setting the tone for an evening filled with entertainment and camaraderie. The program was structured into three engaging categories: Ramp Walk, Talent Round, and Question-Answer Round, culminating in the selection of Mr. and Ms. Fresher amid much excitement and applause.

Dr. Vedika Verma, the esteemed resource person for the event. The party reached its zenith with captivating performances and concluded with a well-deserved Prize Distribution Ceremony, acknowledging the outstanding talents and efforts of the participants.

Dr. Taneet Kaur, the Event in charge, extended heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the event, including Vice Principal Dr. Tejveer Singh and Ajit Pal Singh, whose presence added prestige to the occasion.
