Chandigarh Dec.14, 2021:- Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) continues to gain its forte as functionaries from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) joined the saffron cadre in view of upcoming Chandigarh MC Elections scheduled for December 24. Top leaders which includes AAP's State Vice President Arun Goyal, State Vice President Sunil Shingari, Executive Member Rakhi Sharma, State General Secretary Gulshan Kapoor, Adarsh Goyal, Vijay Puri, Charanjit Kumar, Mohan Lal, Sarojini and Vinod Sharma joined the BJP in the presence of State BJP President Arun Sood, former BJP state president Sanjay Tandon, Mayor Ravikant Sharma, party spokesperson Kailash Jain, former Mayor Poonam at a function held at Kamalam - BJP Party Office, Sector 33,

While inducting the new members in his brigade, Arun Sood said AAP is simply doing the politics of lies and flaws by misleading the confusion in voters. He said that in 2014 Lok Sabha elections, AAP managed nearly one lakh votes, thereafter it vanished from city polity. At last the party ruined its own fate when it managed just a handful of thousand votes in 2019 Lok Sabha election resulting in its forfeited bail.

Terming Aam Aadmi Party as the B team of Congress in Chandigarh, Arun Sood said that Aam Aadmi Party today has become a refuge for fugitives expelled from Congress and other parties. Rejecting the Delhi model, Arun Sood said that today in true sense Chandigarh does not need the Delhi model, but Delhi needs the Chandigarh model. In fact, the leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party have come to Chandigarh not to contest elections, but for a study tour about the development works done here so that the model of Chandigarh can be implemented in Delhi after the elections.
