Desh Bhagat Dental College and Hospital Launches Artificial Limb Replacement Service

Chandigarh June 18, 2021:-Desh Bhagat Dental College and Hospital has now started the service of Maxillofacial Prosthesis for the replacement of amputated limbs. This will be easy for the people of Amloh, Mandi Gobindgarh as well as District Fatehgarh Sahib to avail this service at cheaper rates. Giving information about this, the Chancellor of DBU Dr. Zora Singh said that this service has been started to provide better services to the people around us. While congratulating the principal of the college, Dr. Sanjeev Soni, he said that it is a matter of pride for all of us that this service have been started with the contribution of our students, which will be of immense benefit to society. This information was given during a press conference at Desh Bhagat Dental College and Hospital.
This service has been started by the Department of Prosthodontics of the College. Giving a presentation, Dr. Manmeet Gulati explained how Desh Bhagat Dental College and Hospital is successfully treating people with this technology and helping the people. He said that this increases the confidence level of the victim. Dr. Gulati thanked Dr. Manmohit Singh, Dr. Pratik Gupta, Dr. Alok Mishra, Dr. Bhupinder, Dr. Priyanka for their work and support. 
Talking about the technique, he said that it captures the structure and measurements of the victim's detached limbs such as fingers, ears, nose, etc., then molds it into the silicone. This silicon organ can be replaced with the same amputated or severed organ of the patient.
At the same time Principal, Dr. Sanjeev Soni spoke about the other achievements of the college and hospital. After that, the Vice-Chancellor of the University Dr. Shalini Gupta congratulated all and explained how from time to time the University and its students are contributing to society.
