While addressing the employees the leaders strongly condemn and criticize the Govt of India and said that  the state government employees co-operate with the concerned governments and to contribute maximum level in the fight against the pandemic. But GOI have issued a circular freezing the enhanced DA front January 1 of 2020, July 1 and January 1 of 2021. Also some states have implemented pay cut, and also not allowing to encash earned leave surrender.

Governments use the lockdown as a tool to confiscate the pay and other perks of its employees.  Most of the posts in essential services including public health & medical education, electricity are lying vacant. Governments directed the concerned personal not to fill the vacancies on the ground of financial difficulties. Governments are also decided to amend the labour laws in favour of the finance capital in tune with the central government. Amendments to labour laws and declaration of twenty lakh crore bailout packages in favour of multinational corporations & corporate bodies are examples of the pro neo liberal attitude of central government. In fact central government is feeding the corporates at the expense of poor, hungry people who are being killed due to starvation on their journey to native place. The bailout package is nothing but a roadmap to privatise all public sector undertakings including electricity, ordinance factories, coal etc . Also it promotes corporate farming in agriculture. The demonstration through a resolution demanded the Govt. of India and Chandigarh Administration to withdraw the privatization of well running profit making UT Electricity Department which is providing uninterrupted power supply to its consumer at more cheaper rates than neibouring states event then Department is running in profit.  Line losses are also within 9 to 10 %, thus there is no need to privatize the Department, hence, strongly demanded to withdraw the decision of privatization of UT Electricity Department, Chandigarh. The demonstration through another resolution strongly criticize the Chandigarh Administration and Municipal Corporation for their inaction against the contractors who are exploiting the outsource workers working in the Department since long and demanded to take over these workers under the direct control of the Departments by scrapping Gem System beside withdraw the decision of smart watch to the employees of M.C.

Protest strongly condemned the UP Government for asserting to the UP Electricity Employees & Engineer who were observing peaceful agitation against Privatization of Power Distribution of Purvanchal and demanding immediate release of the arrest employees & engineers beside withdrawal of the decision of Privatization of Discom.
