Chandigarh Sept. 26, 2020:- Hailing the decision and efforts of farmers organizations and common Punjabis for successfully organizing 'Punjab Bandh' in a peaceful manner, the president of Punjab Youth Congress, Brinder Singh Dhillon asked the farmers to take the battle to Delhi in days to come. Asking the common people, farmer organizations, artists and other professionals to come together for the cause, Dhillon said that the time has come for let the ruler realize the power of farmers through agitation at Delhi. Modi must understand that the only way to deal with the issue is to take back the 'Death warrants of farmers'. Youth Congress is ready to perform whatever duty assigned by farmer organizations at Delhi.

Brinder Singh Dhillon said that the farmers of Punjab and Haryana are agitating for long time against the anti-farmer bills but Modi govt has not yet responded in the positive way. The farmers must now move towards Delhi and stage protests at South Block and North Block against the bills. He said that punjab is the land of revolutionaries and many people have laid down their lives for the motherland but Modi govt. is insulting the Punjabis by ignoring their their voice against the farm ordinances. Punjabis get inspiration from Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji, Baba Deep Singh ji, Baba Banda Singh  Bahadur ji and never step back from speaking the truth. The Punjabis will again rise like Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh and get their due rights.

Asking all the political people to  leave their political affiliations behind and get together in the favor of farmers, Brinder Singh Dhilon said that it is not just the cause of concern for farmers but everyone will feel the heat in longer run. He said the farmers of Punjab must organize rallies at Delhi as the farmers of Tamilnadu and Maharastra did in the past to make their voice heard to the ruler. Sitting on dharnas in Punjab and truobling own people would do no good but it will further weaken the state financially. Dhillon ensured that Youth Congress will always stand by the rights of farmers and never step back from doing whatever is required to pressurise the govt.
