Chandigarh September 08, 2020:- Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology, Mohali conducted a virtual orientation program for its fresher students of 2020-21 session. The newly admitted students in various courses of the institute joined the orientation program through virtual platforms. The orientation program was designed in order to make the newly joined students aware and familiar with various aspects related to the institution. The program was divided into various informative and insightful sessions related to academics, campus activities, career opportunities, virtual tour, online classes and other initiatives which are unique and exclusive to the institute.
In the inaugural session, the students were addressed by Chairman, GJIMT, J. S. Bedi who congratulated the students for starting a new journey in their lives and inspired them to achieve their goals and aims of life.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, GJIMT said that GJIMT feels happy and proud to have the new students on board and ensured them that the institute will leave no stone unturned in making their journey a successful one.
The students were also addressed by Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Dean Academics & Gurdeepak Singh, Director, International Education who threw light on various important aspects related to their academics and institution like the academic calendar, code of conduct, institution's policies and systems. Students were really inspired and motivated and felt all set to embark on a new journey at GJIMT.
